Tuesday was sort of a lazy day. We played in the water most of the day. But Tuesday night we went to a dinner show called Arabian Nights . It was GREAT!!! There was an acrobatic show and a magic show before the dinner even started. Then we went into this huge arena and watched the show while we ate. The horses were beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice, so make sure you go to the website above and check it out. If you're ever in Orlando, I recommend you go this show. This is the way the show starts out, with just the black stallion in the arena surrounded by fog
Waiting for dinner and the show to start
The Prince and Princess in their chariot at the end of the show.
At the end of the show they let all the horses out without their saddles and they run around the arena and roll around on the ground. Lincoln thought this was great.

Days 5 & 8 of Vacation: SEA WORLD, October 6th & 10th
Sea World has to be one of my most favorite amusement places to visit. I love the animals and the sea lions are my favorite. Of course, the dolphins and killer whales are wonderful too. We love this park so much that if we're anywhere near it, we go and we usually go for more than 1 day. They have a buy one, get one day free.
I took lots of pictures, so here goes. Sit back and enjoy some of God's great creations, including my children. LOL Maggie & Lincoln with Shamu. Lincoln wanted to know how Shamu swam with fur on him.

Eddie was our FREE stroller for most of the parks. Something always happens to Lincoln's legs when we're out walking.

Day 3 & 4 of Vacation: October 4 & 5
Saturday brought a little more sleep and a little more lazing (is that a word?) around. Then it was on to Orlando and the Vacation Village at Parkway. Our room or apartment as Lincoln called it was great! It had 2 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, you get the picture. We were up on the 5th floor looking out on the pool that was shaped like a Mickey Mouse head.
Sunday we met some friends from the Tampa area for dinner. They had 3 children, one of which was a little girl named Sarina. She's 2 1/2. She and Lincoln had a ball.
Saturday and Sunday were really our only days that we rested and it was a good thing. The rest of the week was crazy, but fun.
Enjoy the pics.

On to Vacation: October 2 & 3
We finally left for vacation on Thursday. Joyce (Eddie's mom)went with us. We pulled out of our driveway in a van loaded to the brim with people and luggage. What lie ahead of us was a 13 hour trip to Fort Meyers, FL. We arrived at 3am FL time and we were exhausted.
After a little sleep we headed off to the beach on Sanibel Island. It was beautiful. The beach was full of shells and not many people. We had a lovely, lazy day.
Didn't take many pics, but enjoy these two.

Birthday Party for Carlee: September 29th
This was our last 'fling' before vacation. Lincoln has grown up with Carlee. She is about 9 months older than him but they are big buds. Her party was at Barfield Park and they had so much fun just playing on the playground and then eating cake and ice cream afterwards. They also had a pinata.
The Birthday Girl
They had more fun making a mess than making a sundae
Our sweet Dylan
Lincoln thinks you can't have a birthday party without a pinata. He gave it a good wack.

Congratulations to the New Pastor at CAC: September 27th
Eddie, Sabrina and Raymond
Lauren, Carlee and Maggie
Eddie's brother, Raymond and his family were installed as the new Pastor of Cornerstone Apostolic Church on Saturday, September 27th. We were able to be in service with them on that evening and had a wonderful time. Raymond, Michele, Steven and Lauren are a wonderful family and will be great examples of what a Christian family looks like.
Here are just a few pics of the reception afterwards. Joyce (MOM), Sabrina (SISTER) and of course Eddie (BROTHER) and all their families were in attendance.

Clifford, the Big Red Dog: September 26th
CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG...
On September 26th,Lincoln's Elementary school had Read for Success Day. The children were all supposed to bring their favorite book to school and dress as their favorite character from that book. Lincoln's favorite storybook and character right now is Clifford the Big Red Dog, so he took several Clifford books with him and as you can see from the pictures he dressed as Clifford himself.
On a side note, his costume was a family project. Everyone had a part in the costume. His teacher still can't believe that we made a costume and didn't buy one.

I know, I know...
I know it's been over a month since I last blogged. However, there is a reason, I haven't fallen of the wagon. I had some technical difficulties with my computer and we've been very busy. Speaking of busy, I have to take my children to school and then go to work, so look for more this afternoon. I promise I have plenty to blog about and plan to do so tonight.
Until then...Have a great day!!!
