This past weekend was packed with many things. On Friday night, Maggie went to Smithville, TN to a youth rally. She had a friend to come over and spend the night afterwards. Of course, they stayed up too late and didn't want to get up on Saturday morning. We had choir practice, so they had no choice.
After choir, we went for a fun-filled night with my parents to a Sounds Baseball game . It was a double-header and we had GREAT seats right behind the plate and the best thing about it was, they were FREE. We didn't stay for all of the 2nd game, but we still had fun.
I've always loved a 'clean' ballfield. It only takes one player to mess up the work of many. Sounds vs. Royals, Saturday, August 9, 2008
Dad, Lincoln and Eddie at the game.
Me, Maggie and Mom at the game. We sat across the aisle from the boys.
Lincoln made Papa turn his hat around so they could be twins.
Papa and Maggie discussing the conditions of her grade contract for school.
Sunday was a great day at church and we had special prayer for all the school kids, Kindergarten through College. I think they should have prayed for the parents too.
Today was Maggie's first official full day of school. She had a great day and likes most all of her teachers. Lincoln got to meet his teacher today and see his room. He goes for 1/2 days Wednesday - Friday and then starts full days next week. We always take 1st day of school pictures under the big tree in our front yard. It's a tradition, hope you enjoy the pics.

Love you.
