I can't believe it's actually 2009. Time really does wait for no one. Right now we are at my Mother-in-law's house, where we have been since about 12:30. Everyone is here except the Wilson clan (Tim & Sabrina and kids). Mike, Deb and the girls came in this past Saturday and have been here all week. Today Raymond, Michele and the kids are here, so we're just all hanging out.
I forgot to bring my camera so I don't have any pictures to document the blessed affair, but believe me we're here.
Just some thoughts about the new year... I wish all my family and friends many blessings and much peace in 2009. Life for my family is about to change with my new job, but we are up for the challenge and I think this will be a good experience for us. This year I want to spend more time with family, not be in such a hurry and I want to enjoy even the small things. Maggie and Lincoln are growing up so fast and I don't want to miss even one minute of it. And I have realized in the last couple of weeks that we're not promised tomorrow so I want to make the most of today.
